Thoughts upon seeing Age of Steel

This is the first time the new series has felt like Doctor Who to me, as opposed to A Science Fiction Series With Time Travel. Either I'm used to it now, or it's really starting to be Doctor Who.
Love those sound effects.
Hate the Parallel World wildcard. But at least Rose has a good memory.
Loved Pete Tyler's reaction to the revelation.
Like Rose less and less. Wish they'd kept Mickey instead.
Loved the scenes that were already RP'd. What coincidences!
They're playing the Emo card too often for my liking.
And it's bloody Earth again next week! Where'd the "S" in TARDIS go? Is it "TARDIE" now, as in "E" for Earth?

Anyway, I never really liked those kind of stories. It's just way too random for me to take a certain character and make a different one out of him. Anyone can do that and I don't find it very creative. It's just aiming for easy shocks, imo.
From what I saw in the Confidential, it looks as if even Billie Piper herself doesn't like Rose very much at the moment.
Have yet to watch the Confidential. But I'm so very much interested at the moment anyway, since they've recently gotten quite boring. *~*
I know it's strange, because this, though a good episode, wasn't the best of the new run, and it's hard to describe the feeling, but it felt like watching a Pertwee or Tom Baker episode.
That's funny, cause I actually felt a little reminded of Davison or Troughton. *lol*
Nope - parents are on holiday, and of course Dad arranged matters so that it would arrive once he's back. *shrugs*
Argh. *~* I just guessed because you were able to watch the episode after such a short time. :)

And Rose just cries too much. The only thing that's believeable, emotion-wise, is Pete Tyler reacting to her.

I sneaked into work today... Uni's got broadband. *eg*
