Whither the weather?

The weather is frightning,
and thunder and lightning
seem to be having their way,
but as far as I'm concerned it's a lovely day.

There's a storm passing us by off in the southwest, and I can see the lightning from my window. What's more, there's rain in the air, and there's nothing as refreshing as the temperatures dropping down from the mid-30s, with wind, and the smell of rain.
Sadly, I have to close the window soon - talk about storm!

Cold I can deal with. Heat? Not so well. There's a finite amount of clothes I can not wear. ;)

I think it must be raining all over the world lately...is anywhere in a drought?

Despite the recent rain, we are still in the middle of a nine year drought here because of the ongoing effects of El Niño .

That is so true- it is definitely easier to keep warm than cool!
