All-purpose biscuit dough

... so I don't have to go looking all over the internet for the basic recipe.
- equal amounts of butter and flour
- half the weight of flour in sugar (ie, 250g butter, 250g flour, 125g sugar)
- pinch of baking powder
- 1 egg
- flavourings / spices as wanted
Tried flavourings:
- lemon and coriander
- chopped dates and honey
- gingerbread spicing
- lemon and gin
Will continue to add. Caraway should be good, too.
