I haven't been so cold since I was in Egypt, which sounds weird until you remember that on the last day, I was bundled up in layers of clothing and shivering in the midday sun while a bottle of water was gently boiling next to me.
I'm actually staying home from work today, which is rare, since I have the same work ethic as my mother, who has been known to go to work with a fever. But in all honesty, all I would be able to do was sit at my desk, shiver and dribble slightly, and spread the germs. I do hope I'll be well enough tomorrow though, there are things that need doing.
For now, I'm going back to bed, in the hope that sleep will knit the ravelled sleeve of care and put a stop to this cold / flu I have.
