Pull the other one, it's got bells on
Oct. 8th, 2008 01:38 pmI've got a pain in the neck, both literally and figuratively. Some people manage to make mountains out of molehills, think their way is the best way, and want to be always in the right. But enough about me! ;)
I received three 50g skeins of Sari Silk and Banana Leaf yarn today. And because I know that you guys (or at least most of you guys) are probably bored to distraction by my rambling about knitting exploits, I decided to spin it off - no pun intended - into it's own little knitting blog, which is
meandering_yarn. Everything yarnish goes there from now on.
I was delighted to find out yesterday that I can still manage to surprise a good friend.
Forget radio alarm clocks and other means of getting me out of bed in the morning, nothing wakes me up like the sound of a cat meowing under my bedroom window. I was at the window looking out before I was even awake enough to realize that I don't have a cat who wants to come in from the cold.
Speaking of cold, there was rime on the roofs of the parked cars this morning. Yes, we're definitely into autumn. And right now, I'd love to crawl into bed with a hot water bottle on my neck.
