I visited Greenwich today, in stunningly beautiful weather, walked through the park and the college of music, where I stood under an open window, listening to the music floating down from it. Next door, a film crew was setting up to film "Little Dorrit". I also went to see the Queen's House, which reminded me a lot of the movie "Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead". While I'm sure it wasn't filmed there - well, not 100% sure - it certainly was an inspiration for the setting used in the movie.
At the Greenwich Market, I sampled the British version of Lahmacun - rather more spicy than the German version of this Turkish food - and also got my back massaged in a Shiatsu acupressure way. For the first time in ages, my back, neck and shoulders felt warm and relaxed, and I floated around for the rest of the day. I could literally hear things creak and crack in my too-tense muscles when they were worked on. Even though it hurt, I'm going to do that again some day.

Tomorrow, despite it going to rain and my initial feeling of wanting-to-stay-indoor-ness, I will venture out, as I have two flat viewings lined up. Both look rather nice from the pictures, are well within my price and commuting range, and demand six weeks' rent in advance. Which may be a problem. But I'll burn that bridge when I come to it.
