On saturday, I feel like a cat purring
Apr. 12th, 2008 12:18 pmI remembered where I know Richard Hammond from: Brainiac.
The weather's nice, and I might be going for a walk later on, I want to explore my immediate surroundings. Might even take some pictures.
Other than that, I'm going to take it easy, drink gallons of tea, and keep warm. The headache was the start of a "I've moved to a differently-germed country and been coughed on on my way to work"- cold which I hope to battle during the weekend so I won't cough and sniffle at work. It's moved to my throat already, it should be over by Tuesday. Fingers crossed.
So what I'll mostly do today is relax, read, listen to music, watch Doctor Who later on, plan what I'll do after work next week - walking through London is appealing, if the weather is good, and if not, I have to check the opening times of museums. There is so much to do it's overwhelming, I just have to avoid being thirsty for culture while almost drowning in it.
eta: Forget the walk. It's just begun to rain. I can't say I mind too much, a day of rest will do me good.
