The good, the bad, and the better
Apr. 10th, 2008 07:09 amGood: Waking up before someone knocks on the door, and even before the alarm clock goes off.
Bad: Waking up with a whopper of a headache.
Better: The relief when the pain leaves.
I have no idea where that headache came from, but knowing me, it was either dinner last night (I fancied an English Breakfast - yes, I know - and that might have been too much relatively shortly before bedtime), a cold neck, or a pain in the back from carrying boxes of files around the office yesterday.
The Box Situation has moved from Stage 1 (no clue what I'm doing and making it up as I go along) to Stage 2 (devising some sort of system and slowly working my way through the boxes while recognizing names more and more often and being able to throw empty boxes away). Also, carrying those boxes means I won't have to go to the gym any time soon.
Even better: Being called into Boss Lady's office - because she wants to tell me about the Doctor Who Prom Concert. I hope I can get a ticket for it.
Oh, and Happy Birthday, Big Ben.
