For the purposes of a roleplaying game, I am currently researching Fort Knox. THE Fort Knox, the US Bullion Depository Fort Knox. And when I say "researching", I mean looking for things like floor plans, images, possible security installations and the like.
And it makes me wonder if someone somewhere notes down my IP.

Man, I'd worry if I were you.... I'm sure I could find your email address if I looked for it but am too lazy at the moment--so I'll just say here that you should go to the new community, [livejournal.com profile] negabilityprime, for an explanation of why Overstrom is out to get the Time Lords.

Hey, having Overstrom meet the Doctor was YOUR idea. But just so you know, I've more or less officially bowed out of Negability, as Neddy will never return to Eupheme (he may go back every now and then to visit Blake's family, but won't go back to the high school). So from now on the time travel/TAS stories, RPs and ideas will appear in negabilityprime.

I have to admit I'm having the same reaction. I don't know any of the new people/characters and haven't got the time or patience to read all the RPs--I'm just not thinking it would be worth it. And I don't know if you caught this, but Ron Tolkein and Victor Hugo's player, [livejournal.com profile] tintaquetta, has announced that he intends to publish Negability as a novel:

So now every time I open Negability I feel like it's 'someone else's stuff', which I find really creepy. But yeah...I think JB and I and others have created a really great universe in TAS and its mission, and you're certainly welcome to jump in in the deep end. If you want, we can IM about it when I get back (or just find JB and IM her--ksiusia on AIM).

Similar problem, except I need to break someone out of a police station cell. I need arrest procedures, floor plans of a building they knocked down over ten years ago and a distraction which does no involve (as it did) demolishing a building I loathe *l*.

Heh...I had to learn stuff like that when I designed a police station cell.
