It's bloc bloody voting. What's the use in having the contest at all if the results are so foreseeable?
Oh, and I am not in the least surprised that Turkey gets 12 points from Germany.

But - Finland? THAT is surprising.

I might agree with you on the similar tastes in music, if the songs had really been different from each other. But mostly, it was more or less Europop, all the same. Except for maybe Croatia, they really stood out.
I think we in Germany have been through taking the piss a lot, judging by the entries from a few years ago. This year, the entry was more serious - but having our voting announcer sit on a horse, I mean, that is taking the piss.
