I have a Flickr account.
No - I have a Flickr account I didn't even know about, because I didn't know until tonight that my Yahoo ID is valid for Flickr.
Even though I'm but a humble picture-taker, I can't wait for the broadband to arrive.

As far as I can tell it is far more common to not automatically add someone as a contact. But once you do have contacts (friends whose photos you can view easily like a Friends Page) then it's courteous to go round once in a while and make comments.
Suddenly you find you are part of a community. It's great. And man, good site for photo-hosting, too. I never have trouble with accessing the site.
