Lunch Break
Nov. 2nd, 2009 02:24 pmWent to the Doctors, picked up my prescription. Went to bank - my debit card was frozen because they thought I was perpetrating fraud when I tried to pay my telephone bill online. Also paid my electricity bill. Both meant waiting in line. Went to Boots, picked up my happy pills. Oh, and why does it take Boots 15 minutes to get medicines? I don't know, all I know is that when I go to an chemists in Germany, they take my piece of paper, grab the stuff I want, and give it to me, no waiting. Oh well.
I did want to go to my letting agent's to inform them that regardless of what the plumbers did, there is still water leaking into the flat below mine, shorting out the lights and dripping onto the carpet. By now I am sure it is not coming from my bathroom, but I would still like to see the matter resolved; after all, I don't want to sit on the loo one day and break through the floor. But, no time today, will do that tomorrow.
Am now wolfing down a sandwich and looking for files.
Of course, the weather is brilliant today, sunny and blue-skied. It seems slightly unfair.
