Well, I'm back.
Jan. 6th, 2009 11:07 pmSafe and sound and rather tired.
I'm sitting here with a mug of hot tea, a bowl of chicken soup, and my next door neighbours serenading me drunkenly in Polish (well not me specifically, but still loud enough for me to hear through the walls). Also, something that has been bugging me for the better part of the holidays has been resolved: Yes, I did turn off the heating before I left. But the flat isn't as cold as I feared it would be.
If it's a measure of home-ness that one indeed feels like one hasn't been away, then I'm home.
Now, what's this I hear about an LJ implosion?
