As an addendum to the last post: It was meant to be "Zombie Elvis", of course.

Speaking of Zombies, and if I may whine for a moment - I wish I could get rid of this cold that has had me in it's grip for about five weeks now. I don't even know if I can call it a cold, it's a general congestion of the respiratory system (oh how I love words like that), combined with occasional bouts of let-me-lie-in-bed-ness, mostly on Sunday (and no, it's not because I'm a lazy sod).
My bed is becoming more comfortable; I put one of my chairs next to it to enlarge the space where I can put books to read and my CD player with the speakers to listen to audiobooks. Together with a nice hot water bottle and a mug of tea, why get up in the first place? ;)

When I was in Germany last time, I took my Sims CDs with me so I could install them here and play a bit. But stupid me, I forgot that you need registration codes to install the stuff. So, no Sims until December. But I would probably feel bad about playing, anyway, since there is so much else to do.

I just wish the weather wasn't so miserable, and that I felt better. *sneezes*

On the positive side, my phone is working perfectly.

But I can't figure out my ring tone - it's something classical, in fact I know it's a piano piece, probably incredibly well known. I know it's a piece with variations, but all I can do is write down the melody as best I can without note paper - if you recognize it, please let me know.

It's in 4/4, the rhythm is simple, it's a dotted quarter followed by five eights, repeated three times. If I propose that it starts with a "d", the melody would be d ddfed|(up a quint)a (down an octave)aacha|(up a quint)d ddfed| (up a quint)a - I can just hope this makes sense.
