Brief Notes
Oct. 1st, 2008 02:24 pm- Teriyaki is full of sugar. Yummy, but sticky.
- It's autumn, and I love it. I've always loved the changing seasons, and even after the no-summer this year, getting an autumn is lovely.
- After the initial annoyance, I find that I an actually get along without the internet. OK, so I am obviously not completely netless, but the time I would spend online at home I now spend in books.
- I will be at a Covent Garden bookshop this coming Saturday, waiting in what I can only suspect will be a long line, for a book signing by Stephen Fry.
- Malteasers are great.
- I still like the odd Jump & Run game, especially when it's so cute as this one. (Oh, and I only play it in the lunch break). See, with the Internet at home, I would be playing a lot more, too.
- Today is my mum's birthday, and she's in the US. I got a letter from her yesterday, which was great because I was afraid they had forgotten about me. ;)
- Yes, I am still knitting, and yes, I am still enjoying it.
- I've joined BookCrossing and already released two books into the wild. No responses yet.
- I am sorely tempted to head over to the V&A after work on Friday and buy a poster or three; some of my flat's walls look bare.
