Various Cats
Aug. 10th, 2008 12:37 pmToday's my last day of catsitting. The local cat's grown used to me, I'm happy to say. Last night, I was lying on the sofa, and he lay down at my head on the cushion. A few days ago, he was even lying on my bed next to me, fast asleep. He may be a picky eater, but he's a fine cat.
There's another cat in the vicinity, a very young one, who runs around outside close to the Thames, being friendly to people, coming up to them and allowing himself to be petted. He's white and yellow, and wears a collar (anti-flea I presume), so I knew he belonged to someone. Today, I found out who he belongs to, that he's only two and a half months old (I had him down as three months, not bad), and his name is Tigger. I am glad he belongs to someone.
I am looking forward to seeing my family's cat, Charlie, again, and I hope he hasn't forgotten me in the months I've been away.
