The weekend was pretty tiring, since my parents and I were heading off into London every morning. Saturday, we saw Harrods, Portobello Road, and Covent Garden; on Sunday, we went to the V&A, the Natural History and the Science Museum, as well as the Bayswater tube station area and Kensington Gardens. Ok, these were things my mum had already seen, but it was all new to dad, and I did want to show him different pieces of London. They had already walked around the Tower and up to St Paul's on Friday, and they will probably go see the Embankment area on Tuesday, before leaving for home on Wednesday morning as I head off to work.
I'm glad we were so lucky with the weather (Sun! Warmth! No rain!), it makes everything look better (but yes, also hotter), and it's more fun to walk through the sunshine than through rain. I also saw a painting I would consider hanging up in my living room, of a fluffy cross between a cat, a tribble and a cartoon owl the picture of which I am trying to find... will post it if I do.

And last night, I had the weirdest dream, combining my old selling job, my current job, and a Germanic end time settlement I was the medicine man of, until someone sent in a new, younger boss (who looked stunningly like weasel-face in the office downstairs) who wanted to tell me how to do my job. So I put on my fur hat, bundled all my possessions (including an old laptop) into a leather bag, and set off into the ice-agey outsides.
Strange.
