It was a dark and stormy day...

The weather is frightening: Lots of rain and lots of wind. I'm so glad I don't have to go out today, or tomorrow either, for that matter. Instead, I spent the day reading, watching Biathlon, and falling asleep during cross-country skiing, only to wake up in time for the bobsleigh.

My parents caught my cold, and have decided to postpone their journey Czechwards for a day in order not to pass on the cold to my gran. I will of course stay here beause of work and to watch the cat, not that he needs a lot of watching. I think he's fallen into hibernation, only waking up occasionally to venture out for an hour, and to eat.

My uncle's daughter has given birth to a girl. From what my uncle says, both mother and child are well and healthy. From what I hear, my niece cousin is still deciding on a name. Knowing her, I'm sure it will be a slightly extravagant one. I wish them all the best, and I can't wait to see pictures.
