Caravan, moving out into the sun
May. 4th, 2007 01:32 pmThere's a caravan standing in front of our house being filled with clothes and food and stuff, and tomorrow, my parents, aunt and uncle will be on their way. Mind you, I love all four of them, but I'm looking forward to having the house to myself. I don't know what it is, but my mum and dad can't work together for toffee, or at least not without angry words being spoken and, occasionally, shouted. Escalation is the middle name of their marriage.
Anyway. Tomorrow is designated self-pampering day. I envision bubble bath, clothes audit (put the winter clothes into storage, rediscover summer clothes) while listening to loud music - loud music is going to feature heavily, anyway -, lying in the shade with a fruity beverage, reading a good book, or at least a neccessary book, maybe hang out with friends in the evening (depending on friends having time, of course). And regardless of whether I'll carry out these plans or not, thinking of them will get me through the remainder of today.
