Komu se nelení, tomu se zelení.
Apr. 10th, 2007 11:16 amIsn't it ironic, don't you think, that the few days I would have had off during Easter I spent in bed with a whopper of a cold? Runny nose, sore throat, fever, the works. I guess I really needed to take a break. Hence, no painted eggs this year, and no visits to the local easter bonfires.
Meanwhile, spring's here. And as usual during springtime, I feel the urge to do some gardening. I convinced mum that it's the same whether I go swimming for an hour or dig around the garden for an hour, plus it's cheaper and more productive. Furthermore, I also persuaded her to have the little piece of earth where she started a haphazard herb corner (parsley, chives and struggling basil amongst some half-wild flowers) and make it into a fully-fledged herb plot, as long as I keep the peony that's growing in a corner. I'm going to take measurements, it's really not that big, and I'll get some flat stones to make a border between the peony and the herbs. Still, I never made a herb patch, so if anyone has any recommendations as to what to do, and what not to do, I'm all ears.
