While sitting at my desk working, I love to listen to BBC radio; always have, always will. By the way, strangely enough, BBC radio online works without a hitch for most of the time *knocks wood*, however, the local station I have on my radio (NDR2) is always hiccoughing when I listen to it online. On the other hand, I could as well turn on the radio to listen to it, while that won't work with the BBC.
Anyway, I'm at the moment listening to a show on which Art Garfunkel is presenting his new album and doing an interview.
I've heard Art Garfunkel's voice since "Bright Eyes" in 19uhhIwaslittlethen. His singing voice, that is. Since he sings in the approximately same range as Jon Anderson of Yes, who has a rather high-pitched speaking voice, I subconsciously thought Garfunkel would also have a high-pitched speaking voice.
No, he doesn't. It's more of a deep tenor, a lot of gravel in there, reminding me of Patrick Steward when he talks bedroom, but with a New York accent. In fact, Garfunkel's voice is deeper than Steward's.
And Garfunkel just said that he had talked to Paul Simon "just the other day", and there might be a new S&G album on the horizon. Now that would be cool.
