Shards of a Mind
Feb. 8th, 2007 01:56 pm"There is considerable colonial subtext in English novels of the 19th century."
Well, duh. There is also considerable religious subtext in Bach's music, considerable racist subtext in Third Reich propaganda, and considerable subversive subtext in 1960s students' movements.
My dad's manic-depressive, my mum doesn't know when to leave well enough alone, and I'm still not finished.
It's been freezing for the past two days or so. I've been freezing too, even though I move around a lot and have the heating running as well. Now it appears to want to snow.
The half-fallen tree in our neighbour's garden will be removed later today.
I have quite literally a pain in the neck, from above my shoulders to where the neck joins the skull. Sometimes it gets so bad that I feel dizzy and nauseous. I guess it's the body reacting to time breathing down my neck.
