Let it be springtime.
Feb. 6th, 2006 02:04 pmA moment of catching my breath before plunging back into what has rapidly become spring cleaning. Dirt, dust and superfluous items are removed from room after room, windows opened to let in fresh, if rather cold, air. The windows of the mind are opened too, and laziness and boredom will be swept away as well, together with the re-developed loose dietary habits and annoyances at little things. I'm putting on my metaphorical top hat, white tie and tails, and will simply ignore the dark, wet, cold, overcast weather. It is entirely possible that I may fall, if not in love, then at least into attraction with someone. Curious to see what, if anything, will come of it. But I still don't like Valentine's Day.
Enough rambling; back to cleaning. If I want to invite people over to watch the opening of the Olympics, I'd better have room for them to balance the fact that of my friends, I quite possibly have the smallest tv screen.
