Addicts

Having heard a lot recently about cats and their reaction to catnip, I decided to try this again, and bought our cat a little burlap sack toy laced with enough catnip for me to be able to smell it. Unpacking my shopping, I tossed it lightly in his direction.

Ducks.
Water.

The funny thing is that his reaction to catnip reminds me of people's reaction to, uh, recreational drugs of the hemp variety. He slowed right down, plays with any- and everything right now (including my fingers on the keyboard, they make such a nice clicking sound...), and is even more cuddly than usual. Though he still uses my hands as chewing and gnawing toys.
