Summer in the city
Jul. 4th, 2005 01:59 pmThen, after a stiflingly hot day, there was a thunderstorm, which brought wind, much-needed rain, and a sudden drop in temperature, all of which was much-appreciated, even though I was soaked through by the time I got home, even with the umbrella.
Summer always tries to make up for the heat with incredible sunsets, the like of which that, if you saw them on an oil painting, would elicit comments such as "how cheesy" or "how unrealistic".
Cameras never lie, though; look for yourself. This was taken about an hour ago. I've not done anything to it except shrink it.
( Cut for image size, I don't want to mess up your friends page. )
