Ads for lady-shavers are a lot different... you see the whole woman, and most of the time more than one woman, and you see the ads mostly in summertime (wonder why *G*), and the music is more fresh-and-happy-sounding. Actually, the closest we women get to that "razor" kind of advertising aesthetic is with electric irons. Which is scary.
