This is getting better and better

The problem with being in bed / asleep for most of the day is that you can't sleep at night. So here I am again (and no, you won't get any in-depth babblings about stuff this time), a bit tired, ears woolly from blowing my nose (danm those eustachian tubes), slightly high form the cough drops, my eyes red and swollen, having the midnight munchies, and I just cut my thumb on a can of peanuts.
It's only the cough drops, I swear!
Hang on, got blood on my keyboard...
...much better with a band-aid.
Anyway, the good news is that I can swallow again without my throat being on fire. My voice is still almost nonexistent, though, which means that I communicate like a dolphin most of the time- with clicks and whistles. Which can also be fun. And confuses the cat.
I am not worrying about the gig on Friday, I'll definitely be able to play there, but I'll as definitely not sing. I want to ruin neither my voice nor the enjoyment of the audience.
There was a party tonight that I so much wanted to go to.
