So for the 3rd of September, when the steam train festival my dad's organizing for the city marketing will happen, mum and I will be there, selling various souvenirs, literature and coffee and being a general info-point and resting place for dad and his helpers.
Last time, two years ago, the man who works at the printing company where the book accompanying the festival was printed gave us an old Borgward as decoration / exhibit / place to stash things:

This time, no Bordward - he's sold the old car last year. However, since he is a collector of old cars, he's offered us a different one, and when I saw which one it was, I had to laugh:

We're getting Bessie!

Well, almost, anyway. Our Bessie is a Citroen, not an Edwardian roadster. But it's close enough to make me want to get a shop window dummy, dress it up as the third Doctor, and have a secret laugh.
