I woke up this morning and marvelled at how Matt Smith's Eleventh Doctor seemed rather similar to Richard E. Grant's pseudo-Ninth Doctor from Scream of the Shalka.
A lot of REG's mannerisms, responses and so on seem a lot similar to Eleven, but without what I term the arms flailing into action of Eleven. Or rather, Eleven but more tempered by Eight's dignity.
