For some reason, my post from yesterday attracted a Japanese spambot who tried to sell me brown high-heeled boots (which I know thanks to Google translation). Strange...
Autumn has fallen, and hit me over the head with a sledgehammer. I woke up this morning with a migraine, popped an Ibuprofen and went back to bed, breathing deeply for an hour, then popped another and went to work. I am floating on a sea of painkillers; luckily, the nausea has stopped, but I still feel like a delicate crystal, ready to shatter at a moment's notice. I hate being so sensitive to changes in the weather.
It is rather windy outside, and our flimsy windows are rattling (damn, I think I left the living room window open; oh well, at least it'll be fresh when I come back). This is nothing compared to the clothing shop's store room outside our office, where their security door was blown off the hinges. There is also a misty rain swirling around. All in all, a day to crawl under the duvet with a book, which is what I will probably do tonight.
However, the air is fresh, with that earthy smell of late summer/early fall, and before I crawl back under the duvet tonight, I will breathe deeply.
