Payment received with thanks

I just paid for my Festival of Writing booking. Starting to get scared/excited.
Will use next week's holiday to sit down and write; also polish some bits - they want a writing sample to send to the other side of the one-on-one's for discussion.

One is quite happy about it all. \o/

I've just had a strange experience. I heard my boss talking, but she spoke Czech, and suddenly, I felt the world turn (or rather, had a little bit of vertigo), as if my brain went "twang".
