Monday, Monday
Mar. 10th, 2008 12:44 pmAnd so, slowly, the goodbyes begin.
At a birthday party on Saturday, I had to tell my story a couple of times, and everyone was all, "Wow! Fantastic!... When did you say you were leaving? OMG!" I admit I enjoyed the attention - and I enjoyed meeting a lot of people again, for what in some cases might be the last time for a long while, if not forever. On the other hand, someone was there whom I thought I'd never see again, but in theatre world, they are used to people moving around a lot, so you never know!
I think that yesterday, I finally got one of my RL friends hooked to Second Life. The funny thing is that I'll probably see him more often in SL than I saw him in the past year in RL. But SL is a great way to stay in touch, what with voice chat and all.
I'll hang around the house today and will be filling bin bags with stuff to throw away. My list of things to do grows ever longer. I have too much stuff! One accumulates kipple by the metric fuckton when one's not forced by spacial constraints. Decisions, decisions...
