stage fright
Feb. 17th, 2005 01:57 amToday's the day - my band's gig is tonight.
Am I nervous? Hell yes. And I'm trying to give up cigarettes, too. I'm already shaking. Stage fright much?
But I'm also looking forward to it. Once we stand on stage, I won't be able to wait to get going. We should be playing more gigs.
I know I'll be alright three songs into the first set, but until then I'll play with what our guitarist refers to as "fear vibrato".
Ah well. *shrugs* Bring it on!
Edit: I'm not nervous any more. Being confused and drained by something unrelated to the gig will do that to you. Good trick, that, even though the timing sucks.
